Obituary of Edward E. Fuller

Edward Elmhirst Fuller, age 82 of Dundee died Tuesday, Sept 11, 2012 at the Evangelical Home in Saline. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan October 29, 1929 the son of Frank and Edith (Elmhirst) Fuller. Ed married Judith S. Johnston October 20, 1956 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tecumseh, Michigan. He attended Dundee Schools and during his youth he worked at the family business, Fuller’s Market in Dundee. He had worked for a time at Tecumseh Products but was alongtime photographer and narrated movies. A major love of his was music. He played the saxophone in many bands over the years such as the Tom Row Band and the Tecumseh Products Orchestra Michigan Weekenders. He is also a member of the Dundee Senior Citizens. He was also noted for being an expert of local Native American Indian Lore . For many years he spent much of his time educating and entertaining school groups and community groups with his knowledge of local American Tribes. His survivors include his wife Judy; a son James Fuller of Dundee; daughter Autumn Handy of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; granddaughter Cassie Fuller. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son David Fuller and a daughter Julie Ann Fuller. Friends may call on Friday from 2 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee, 297 Tecumseh Street(734-529-3156) Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the Dundee United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow the services with cremains interment to follow at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee.
