Obituary of Beverly Ann Sulfaro
Beverly Ann Myers, lovingly known as “Aunt Bets”, “Gram”, “Granny" and “My Pretty Girl”, was born on December 6, 1945 in Monroe, Michigan to Floyd and Ruby (Wylie) Myers. As a young woman, she was employed at Consolidated Paper Mill in Monroe, Michigan where she met the love of her life, Frank Sulfaro, whom she married on October 11, 1975. After finally convincing her he was worth it, they spent the next 46 years living out the most inspirational love story.
Bev later returned to hairdressing at JCPenney’s where she worked until the salon’s closure. She awaited her husband’s retirement before they began traveling the country by RV finally settling on Apache Junction, Arizona to spend their winters. In addition to her dedication to caring for husband, Beverly enjoyed her family, whether it was making her “practically famous” pasta sauce for Sunday dinner, gathering around the poker table, playing domino’s or Yahtzee, or just simply having a chat. To know her was to love her and whether you were blood relation or not, if she loved you, you were hers.
