Edward Allen Buehrer May 7, 1942 - December 9, 2011 Edward Allen Buehrer was born in Wauseon, Ohio on May 7, 1942. He was one of eight children born from the union of the late Sylvanus C. Buehrer and the late Jesse B. (Nicley) Buehrer. He married Patricia Gilbert on February 10, 1979. Edward and Patricia were active in the local Harbor Light Masonic Lodge 746 in Point Place. For more than thirty years Edward worked as a truck driver. He hauled a multitude of items from grain to car parts. He worked for several employers including Refiners Transport and Ford Stamping. Edward Allen Beuhrer age 69 of Erie, Michigan passed away at 11:30am, Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. In addition to his parents his passing was preceded by a brother: William Buehrer and a granddaughter: Mackenzie Aughney. He leaves to cherish his memory he leaves a beloved wife Patricia of Erie; four children: Julie Duncan of Wauseon, Jeffrey (Laura) Buehrer of Bedford Township, Jill R. Buehrer of Archbold, Ohio, and Jennifer Beck of Archbold; two stepchildren: Suzanne L. Bockelman of Toledo and Michael Bockelman of Erie; two sisters: Betty Swan of California and Phyllis Frankforther of Perrysburg, Ohio; four brothers: Howard Buehrer of Tucson, Arizona, Dean Buehrer of Chandler, Arizona, Tom Buehrer of Swanton, Ohio, Darrell Buehrer of Napolean, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Josh Duncan, Amanda Duncan, Justin Buehrer, Jessica Buehrer, Austin-Michael Buehrer, Kyle Beck, and Marissa Beck. Cremation has taken place. Friends may gather on Saturday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00am for a memorial service at the Mayfair Plymouth Congregational Church, 5253 Bennett Road in Toledo. Merkle Funeral Service, 9156 Summit Street in Erie (734) 848-5185 has been entrusted with his arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
