Juliann Elizabeth Beaudrie, age 64, of South Rockwood passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Nursing Center in Frenchtown Twp. Juliann was born June 27, 1944 in Monroe from the union of the late George Lukich and the late Iona (Dusseau) Lukich. She married the love of her life Robert A. Beaudrie on October 28, 1983 in Texas. Juliann was a member of the Monroe High School Class of 1962. She had worked as a hairdresser for many years and also served as a Service Writer for Bass Pro Shops, a position that she truly loved. She retired in 2005. Juliann loved to entertain; she enjoyed conversation with family and especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Cooking was one of her specialties and she loved to be in the kitchen. Planting flowers to share was one of her pasttimes. For fourteen years Robert and Juliann had made their home in Antioch, Illinois. They had made plans to move back before Juliann's illness. While living in Antioch, Juliann loved to spend time on her deck over-looking the lake. Other hobbies included visiting auctions and collecting antique glass. She leaves to cherish her memory: her partner of more than twenty-seven years: Bob of South Rockwood; two children: Ken (Heather) Drewior Jr. of South Rockwood and Aimee Brown and Frank Parth of Antioch, Illinois; a sister: Mariann Cline of Monroe; a brother: Michael (Betty) Lukich of Glendale, Arizona; six grandchildren: Casey, Aidan, and Cassidy Brown all of Antioch, Illinois; Elizabeth, Grace, and Ken Drewior III all of South Rockwood; four nieces: Cathy (Ken) Grinn, Julie Harris-Huntley (Cordell Huntley), Christine (Kevin) Keir, and Jennifer Lukich; two nephews: James (Caroline) Harris III and David (Lee) Harris, and many great nieces and nephews. Her passing was preceded by her parents and her grandparents. Friends may gather from 1:00pm until a Celebration of Her Life at 6:00pm, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Twp, (734)384-5185. Her brother-in-law the Rev. Richard Beaudrie of Bethel Community Church in Livonia will officiate. Cremation rites will follow through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. Private inurnment of her cremains will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. For those desiring memorials; gifts of love are suggested to the Beaudrie family.
