Obituary of Timothy Wayne Hill
Timothy Wayne Hill was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on February 11, 1958. He was one of three children from the union of Lovis Wayne Hill and Joan Fay (Goble) Hill. Following high school, Timothy would marry the former, Patricia Turner, on October 8, 1976 in Georgetown, Kentucky and together they would be blessed with three children.
For many years, Timothy, would support his family working as a construction supervisor, mostly building condominiums and housing units. He would find employment with Uniland Corporation before retiring in 2005 due to a medical disability.
More than anything, family was Tim’s life. He shared his passion for the outdoors and especially his favorite pastime of fishing with those he loved. The Hill family would travel the great State of Michigan visiting the State Parks. His favorite spot to cast a line was at Hayes State Park along the shores of Wamplers Lake. While touring the state they often visited lighthouses along the way. Over the years, Timothy proudly cataloged his excursions with a photobook of the entrances to the lighthouses and State parks they visited. Tim was particularly fond of his ability to share fishing and indeed how to behave with his grandchildren.
Timothy also enjoyed listening and playing music, he didn’t have a favorite genre as he listened to everything from Country, to the Eagles, to Bluegrass. He even taught himself how to play the guitar mandolin. This musical talent should come as no surprise since Tim himself was related to popular Bluegrass artist, Pete Goble.
