Obituary of Michael Arnold

Michael James Arnold was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on January 19, 1986. He was the son of Randy Lee Arnold and Diane Marie (Karwick) Arnold. He attended Crestview Schools in Crestview, Florida before obtaining his GED from the high school in 2004. Michael moved to the Monroe area in 2006. For the past seven years Michael had been employed as an installation technician for Direct TV. Through his employer he had received additional training and certification to perform his job. Michael was an extremely hard worker. Enjoying the work that he did, Michael never shied away from working overtime and was happy to share his knowledge with others. Michael was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching all sports and was knowledgeable about the players and teams. Michael also loved music and seemed to have all the information regarding bands and musicians. His favorite genres included rock and alternative music. Although Michael was extremely shy and quiet in public, he was very outgoing and generous to those who had the pleasure of getting to know him. Michael was always protective of his family. He enjoyed being an uncle and liked to play games and have lengthy conversations. He seemed to be blessed with the ability to speak on their level. Michael was especially fond of his niece: Serenity. Michael James Arnold, age 27 of Lambertville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 30, 2013 in Monroe, Michigan. His passing was preceded by his maternal grandfather: Harold Karwick and his paternal grandmother: Helen Arnold; paternal uncle: A.J. Arnold. To cherish his memory he leaves loving parents: Randy and Diane Arnold of Crestview, Florida; paternal grandfather: Dalvin Arnold and grandmother: Pascale Clevenger of Monroe; maternal grandmother: Delores Karwick of LaSalle; a brother: Matthew (Racheal) Arnold of Lambertville; a sister: Melissa Miesch of Monroe; a half-brother: Randy (Tawnia) Arnold of Monroe; and many other loved ones. A private memorial service was held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. Cremation followed through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Arnold Family to assist with funeral expenses.
