Obituary of Matthew Saxton

Matthew J. Saxton, age 51, of Milan and formerly of Dundee, passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, October 16, 2010 in Flint, Michigan. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan February 21, 1959 to Lawrence Saxton and Madalyn Dunmore. He had graduated from Dundee High School Class of 1977 and was employed as a laboratory technician. He married Lissa L. Mahaffey May 9, 2006 in Tennessee. His survivors include his wife Lissa; three sons Aaron Saxton, Christopher Saxton and Timothy Saxton all of Ypsilanti; two stepsons Curtis (Holly) Lee of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Joseph (Joni) Lee of Centerberg, Ohio; a stepdaughter Linda (Zach) Thomas of Howard, Ohio, his mother and step father Madayln (Midge) and Chuck Kanitz of Dundee and his father and step mother Larry and Sharon Saxton of Arizona and a brother Mark (Rhonda) Brammer of Lambertville; also a step-grandson Trenton Lee. Private family funeral services will held in accordance with his wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family.
