Judith Ann Long was born in Pruden, Tennessee on November 16, 1945. She was the daughter of the late William S. Fowler and Elise (Jones) Fowler. In 1952, the young family moved to Monroe for work. Judie attended Monroe schools graduating from high school in 1963. Judie married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Wilson Jr. in Monroe, Michigan on March 1, 1974 by Rev. E. E. Patterson in his home. Together the couple made their home in Monroe raising their children. Judie was very outgoing and bubbly and always had a good joke or story to tell. Family was everything to Judie; she had a passion for taking care of her husband and relished in hosting family gatherings. For a period of eight years, she and her husband lived in Laredo, Texas. Her personality served her well as she took a great deal of pride as the Social Director for the Newcomers Club. Judie truly treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. She received her spiritual nourishment by attending Heritage Baptist Church in Monroe. Judith "Judie" Ann Wilson, age 67 of Newport passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her home.
