Obituary of Leslie Allen

Leslie ‘Lester’ Allen, age 69, of Dundee, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 12, 2014.. He was born in Michigan on June 9, 1945 the son of Solomon and Miriam (Schwerdfelder) Goldman. He graduated from Cass Tech High School in Detroit and the Lawrence Technological Institute. He was a mechanical engineer in quality control at the Ford Motor Company at their Dearborn facilities. He started there in 1979. Lester was married to Ana Oliver from 1978 until 2011. Surviving are three stepsons: Humberto Carrasco-Oliver of South Lyon, Michigan, Jose (Leslie) Carrasco of Southfield, Michigan and Alejandro (Cassandra) Oliver of Westland; six step-grandchildren; one sister, and dearest friends Pam and Walter Parrish of Petersburg. In accordance with his wishes cremation has been held. Friends may call on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh St, Dundee (734-529-3156) from 9 AM until the service at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Michael Woroniewicz, pastor of St. Gabriel Parish of Dundee and Ida. Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee.
