Gladys Lucille (Gibson) Mobley, age 81, of Dundee, Michigan died Saturday, July 27, 2013 under the care of her three daughters at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Born May 22, 1932 in Jonesville, Lee County, Virginia, the daughter of Tillman and Roxie (Spurlock) Collins. She married Fitzhugh Lee Gibson November 9, 1952. He passed away June 16, 2001. She later married Hubert Mobley May 8, 2004. He passed away November 21, 2006. She moved to Dundee in 1954 and was a former long time member of the Dundee Assembly of God. She was currently attending the Monroe Gospel Mission Church. She also participated in the Ladies Bible Study group. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 – 8 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). She will lie in state on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 10 AM until 11 AM services at Monroe Full Gospel Mission Church, 5337 E. Albain Road in Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Harold Raines, pastor of the church and Rev. Ralph Tennyson of Middlesboro, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren , great-grandchildren and her church friends. Gladys is survived by her daughters: Rosalie (Virgil) Stewart of Newport, Barbara Gibson of Dundee and Linda (Daniel) Ault of Hanover, Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Eugene Collins of Clyde, Ohio, Homer Collins of Three Rivers and Daniel Collins of Clyde, Ohio; sisters Alla Mae Leedy of Clyde, Ohio, Julie Kleinow of Carleton, and Freda Phipps of Clyde, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, a baby son Marvin Duane Gibson, grandson Christopher Dean Stewart, brother Floyd Collins and sisters Cora Lee Collins and Martha Jane Stewart.
