Obituary of Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson, age 83 of Dundee, born in Detroit, Michigan October 18, 1929, the son of Clifford and Della (Compton) Johnson. He was raised in Virginia where he graduated from high school in Oakwood, Virginia. In the merchant marine before and after his US Army service. He was a ranger and paratrooper in the United States Army Airborne Division. He was also a Green Beret. He had done many things in his life. He owned construction companies, owned a car dealership in San Fransisco, California and had lived in Dundee for the past few years. His only survivor is a brother Bill Johnson of Fenton, Michigan and friend Angelo Constantine of Plymouth, Michigan. Friends mall call on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 2 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Services will be held that same Wednesday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services at Tri-County Crematory in Ypsilanti.
