Obituary of Phoebe A. Hilgeneck

Phoebe A. (Ruth) Hilgeneck, age 84, of Brighton and formerly of Dundee died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at her home at Independence Village, She was born and raised in the upper peninsula at L’Anse, Michigan April 29, 1928. She married Glen Hilgeneck who preceded her in death on July 22, 2004. They had farmed in Dundee their entire married lives. She was a member of the Dundee Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Doug Hilgeneck, Teresa Oberly, Kevin Mervar, Scott Mervar, Shelley Bowen, Craig Mervar, Walter Stark and Starlyn Moeller, also many grea5t nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and her Jehovah Witness Brothers and Sisters. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2012 at the Dundee Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 17570 Tecumseh Road (M-50) in Dundee. Memorials may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.
