Obituary of Mary Ann Cox

Mary Ann (Grove) Cox, age 71, of Petersburg, Michigan passed away at 8:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 15,2012 at Herrick Manor in Tecumseh following a long illness. Mary Ann was born in Petersburg on December 18, 1940 the daughter of Anne Grove. She attended both Bedford and Summerfield Schools. She loved gardening and flowers and had worked for various greenhouses including Parran’s and Stahl’s. She was married to William Gleason Cox October 30, 1957 at Jeffersonville, Indiana. Her survivors include her husband William G. Cox, Sr, a son William G. Cox Jr and his wife Lori of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren Tony Cox, Kalob Cox and Ashley Cox; brothers Albert Grove and Bob Grove both of Temperance; nephew Andy Grove and niece Kaitlynn Grove. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 - 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
