Kimberly Kae Bonnell was born in Wayne, Michigan on January 7, 1965. She was the daughter of the late Timothy White and Karen (Bonk) Angove. Kimberly was a graduate of Romulus High School. Kimberly was extremely outgoing. She was always a joy to be around and she made friends exceptionally easy. This personality lent itself well to her chosen occupation, that of being a waitress. She enjoyed interaction with customers and fellow employees and had spent the past seven years employed at Red Lobster in Monroe. Kimberly had a passion for country music and she loved to dance and sing. She had a great sense of humor and was very sweet and loving. Kimberly always put the needs of others above her own. She loved her children more than anything and she enjoyed entertaining others and cooking for family get-togethers and camping. Kimberly Kae Bonnell, age 48 of Newport passed away unexpectedly at 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her home. In addition to her father her passing was preceded by her paternal and maternal grandparents; two aunts: Judy Bonk and Darla Shatilo; and an uncle: Larry Shatilo. To cherish her memory, Kimberly leaves behind her loving mother: Karen Angove of Monroe; a daughter: Maddison Bonnell of Flat Rock; a son: Jacob Bonnell (Kayely Krzywdzinski) of Garden City; two sisters: Shannon Stover of Illinois and Heather Veres of Pennsylvania; four nephews: Justin Stover, Michael Erickson, Josh Wickings, and Chad Blackburn; and two nieces: Taylynn Veres and Britney Blackburn; a great niece: Michaela; and two great nephews: Santana and Jordan. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 7:00pm also at Merkle's with the Reverend George White officiating. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
