MICHAEL PARSONS, age 57, of Dundee, Michigan, passed away at his home at 5:31 P.M., Monday, December 12, 2011 following a short illness. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia January 3, 1954 the son of Harry and Nina (Roberts) Parsons. He graduated from Rossford High school in 1972 and was employed at Old Castle Building Envelope in Perryburg, Ohio for the past eighteen years. On June 23, 2001 he married Harriet (McCully) Bright in Alden, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Harriet; his mother Nina Parsons of Northwood, Ohio; sons Steven (Danielle) Woos of Sylvania, Joshua (Milana) Parsons of Greenville, S.C., daughter Michelle (Stephen) Brown of Greenville, S.C., stepson Scott (Erin) Bright of Canton, MI and stepdaughter Michelle (Greg) Tatrow of Marshall, MI; nine grandchildren; brothers Harry DeWayne (Karla) Parsons of Wallbridge, OH and Thomas (Debbie) Parsons of Temperance and sister Shirley Tarpy of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his father in 2006, a son Jeremy Parsons in 2001 and a niece Nicole. Friends may gather at the Cover funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) on Thursday from 4 - 9 P.M. The family will also receive friends and relatives from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. services Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Dundee United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the church. In accordance with his wishes cremation has been held.
