Betty J. (Malosh) Schultz (1931 – 2016)
Mrs. Betty J. (Malosh) Schultz, of Dundee, MI, died Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the home of her son Daniel I. Schultz in Dover, Florida. Age 85. The daughter of the late Burt and Myrtle (Kottke) Malosh, she was born on March 19, 1931 in Metamora, Ohio. Betty retired from Dundee Community Schools as a Food Service Manager and was active in the Dundee Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by three children, Paulla (Daffyd) MacSteaphan of Pinckney, MI, and her children Derek (Ann with son Shozo), Andrea, and Jay; Daniel (Iam) Schultz of Dover, FL, and their son Teague (Abby with son Atticus and daughter Finley); Chad (Mira) Schultz of Dundee, MI, and their children Daniele, Dayna, and Cady. Betty is also survived by her sister Alice (Chuck) Bruckner of Petersburg, MI. and a brother Jim Monaghan. Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother Bud, a sister Helen and a sister Mary as well as her husband of 43 years Lehr P. Schultz of Dundee, MI (married November 6, 1948).
Funeral Services are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee, MI. (734-529-3156) Prior to the service, there is a viewing for family and friends from noon until the time of service.
