Obituary of Kevin Addy

Kevin R. Addy, age 57, of Adrian, formerly of Dundee, passed away suddenly Sunday August 11, 2013 at the Bixby Hospital emergency room in Adrian. He was born at Tecumseh, Michigan July 23, 1956 the son of Clayton and Betty (Peg) (Ellis) Addy. He graduated from Dundee High School in 1974. He started working at Foodtown in Dundee when he was 15 years old. He worked there many years attaining management then moved to the Milan Foodtown Store. He is currently working at Jerry’s Market in Tecumseh. Kevin was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors and animals. He was a morel hunter; was a member of the Maybee Sportsman Club; N.R.A., and was a life member of the North American Hunting Club. He is survived by his sweetheart Carol Breckel of Adrian; daughter Alissa Addy (Lee Pollock) of Petersburg; granddaughter Alexis Pollock; mother Betty (Peg) Addy of Dundee; and sister Kim (Dwayne) Perkins of Folwerville. He was preceded in death by his father and all of his grandparents. Friends may call on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12 noon until services at 1 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Officiating will be the Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the Dundee United Methodist Church. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has been held.
