Obituary of Sabrina Anderson-Pacheco

Sabrina Raye Anderson-Pacheco June 14, 1972 - May 6, 2013 Sabrina Raye Anderson was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 14, 1972. She was the daughter of the late Alvin Lee Anderson and Gina Carnelli. She was raised by her stepfather: Keith Cornett. Sabrina attended school at Palm Dale, California. Sabrina was kind and compassionate. She was a happy, go-lucky, free-spirit, respectful of others wants and needs. She always cherished the smallest of gifts, and she was generous almost to a fault. Sabrina was a wonderful prayer warrior, and a talented artist completing many greeting cards for family and friends. Whether birthdays, anniversaries, or just thinking of you, Sabrina used cartoons and words to brighten other's day. She loved animals. Sabrina was an avid swimmer and a self-proclaimed "Fish". She was swift and light on her feet and enjoyed different forms of dance including ballroom. Growing up on the West Coast, Sabrina became fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese in addition to English. She was a die-hard L.A. Raiders fan, even after moving to Michigan three years ago to be closer to her family. Sabrina Raye Anderson age 40 of Monroe went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ at 11:00am, Monday, May 6, 2013 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice. In addition to her father in April of 2012, her passing was preceded by a maternal grandmother: Sophia Pacheco, To cherish her memory she leaves her parents: Gina and Keith Cornett of Monroe; fiancé: Eddie Berry of Monroe; stepchildren: Jason (Jodie) Berry of Monroe, Candace Hardy of Monroe; two brothers: Al Anderson and Jeremy (Kim) Cornett both of Taylor, one sister: Wendy (Leonard) Buda of Dowagiac, Michigan; two paternal aunts: Tammy Cornett, Karen Graham, a Papaw: Earl Cornett; a maternal aunt: Susie (Steven) Haynes of Pinnion Hills, California; one niece: Aubrey Cornett; one nephew: Dominic Cornett; one granddaughter: Gracie Lynn; and a host of cousins, family, friends, and loved ones. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 7:00pm also at Merkle's with Jason Berry her stepson officiating. Cremation rites will follow. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
