Obituary of Kenneth Ray Smith

Kenneth Ray Smith was born on March 24, 1953 in Monroe. He was one of five children born from the union of the late Harry and Georgia (Heath) Smith. Kenneth attended Jefferson High School graduating with the Class of 1972. He proudly served his country as a Sargent in the United States Army from October 31, 1974 until his honorable discharge on October 30, 1978.

Later, Kenneth, would continue his education at Monroe County Community College earning a certificate in automotive repair.   He would soon meet the love of his life, the former Sharon Lillian Greenlee and they married on September 7, 1989 in Toledo.   For many years, Kenneth provided for his family through manufactured housing sales.

Kenny cared deeply for his family and cherished the time spent with them.   He often held gatherings at his home, cooking on the grill, and being the life of the party.   He was especially fond of his grandchildren.
