Obituary of Dana Gedelian

Dana Ann Gedelian was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 25, 1969. She was the daughter of Richard and Jacqueline (Couture) Gedelian. Dana lived in the Monroe area her entire life and attended Monroe County Intermediate School District. Dana attended St. Charles Catholic Church. She was a sweet spirited young lady who loved all kinds of animals and babies. She liked to watch David Letterman. Dana enjoyed swimming and going to the family cottage in Ludington, where she liked campfires and just spending time with her family. Dana went to a camp hosted by the Muscular Dystrophy Association for five years in a row, which she loved. Dana Ann Gedelian, age 44 of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her home. Her passing was preceded by her grandparents. To cherish her memory, she leaves her parents: Richard and Jacqueline Gedelian of Newport; two sisters: Jill Ann Gedelian and Mary Jo (James) Ryan; a brother: Richard Allen (Joyce) Gedelian; five nieces; and two nephews. Dana will lie in state from 9am until 10am at St. Charles Catholic Church on Friday, April 19, 2013. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10am. Father Victor Roman will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
