Obituary of Robert Harmon

Robert Allen Harmon was born on November 8, 1943 in Reading, Ohio. He was the only son born from the union of his parents: the late Roland Harmon and the late Wilma (Armentrout) Harmon. He received his spiritual nourishment by attending a Methodist church with his parents.

After graduating from high school, Robert decided to enlist in the United States Army and proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged. He decided to further his education by obtaining an Associate Degree from college to prep him for his career as a librarian. He worked at the Cincinnati Public Library System for 33 years until he retired in 1996. Robert married the love of his life, Eva on November 4, 2005 in Paw Paw, Michigan surrounded by those closest to him.

Bob enjoyed time spent fishing with his father in Minnesota, camping with his family and tending to his garden. He was very meticulous about his yard and was always planting trees and flowers. He was a car enthusiast and could talk about them for hours.

Above anything, Robert loved his family. He was very close with his parents and loved them dearly. He was a devoted husband, a great step-father and the best grandfather to his two grandsons. He cherished the time he got to spend with them. He was loved by his family and will be truly missed.
