Judy Dianne Fendley was born in Gadsden, Alabama on April 24, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Fendley and the late Bertha (Barber) Spinks. She married David Arnold Rigley Sr. in Monroe in 1972 and took care of her home and family as a homemaker. Judy Dianne Rigley, age 63 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 7:05pm at Mercy Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by a stepfather: John Spinks, her husband: David Rigley, a brother: Bobby Fendley, and a sister-in-law: Marjorie Fendley. To cherish her memory she leaves behind her son: David (Tina) Rigley of Monroe, a daughter: Devon (Tim Beck) Rigley of Monroe; two brothers: Jack Fendley of Fruithurst, Alabama, and James Fendley of Toledo; a sister: Nancy (Donald) Mell of Carleton; a sister-in-law: Diane Fendley of Gadsden, Alabama; a grandson: Ian David James Rigley of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, 14260 S. Dixie Highway Monroe, MI 48161. Rev. Kenny Spain of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. David Jones of NorthBrook Church will co-officiate. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
