Obituary of Justin Bodenschatz II

Justin Edward Bodenschatz II was born in Southfield, Michigan on September 10, 1989. He was the son of Justin Edward Bodenschatz and Lisa Foucha. Justin was a 2007 graduate of Airport High School. Justin was an extremely hard worker. He liked the finer things in life and wasn't afraid to earn them. He had been employed as a laborer for several years before taking employment with Flat Rock Metal, where he had been employed for the past few months as a Piler. Justin enjoyed surrounding himself with his family and friends. He cherished the time that he spent with his two boys. It was said that Carter would light up when his daddy entered the room. Justin loved the outdoors, going for walks at the State Park, and just fishing. He was to say the least an amazing father. Justin was looking forward to a 2013 marriage to his loving fiancé, Melissa Baltrip. Justin Edward Bodenschatz II, age 23, of Monroe passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center early Saturday morning, October 6, 2012 from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident in LaSalle Township. To cherish his memory, Justin leaves a caring fiancé: Melissa Baltrip of Monroe; his mother: Lisa Foucha; two sons: Carter Bodenschatz and Johnny Calvin of Monroe; one sister: Brandy Bodenschatz of Monroe; one brother: Shawn Bodenschatz of Monroe; three half-sisters: Jessica (Tony Vercellono) Foucha and Kristine Richter both of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Fawn (Jan) Shupp of Dearborn; a maternal grandmother: Audrey Foucha of Livonia; a maternal aunt: Tammy Foucha of Livonia; future mother and father-in-law: Susan and Scott Baltrip of Monroe; and a niece and nephew: Madison and Vinnie. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, October 13, 2012 also at Merkle's. The Rev. Roy Southerland pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle. Memorial donations for those who desire are suggested to the Bodenschatz Family.
