Obituary of Betty Zambeck
Please share a memory of Betty to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Sue Hestand was born in Marion County, Indiana on July 1, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Edward Hestand and the late Rosa B. (Wilder) Hestand. She grew up Wayne County and was a 1961 graduate of Taylor High School.
Betty married Nicholas Russell Zambeck in Taylor, Michigan in 1961. She was a homemaker, and took the responsibility of raising the couple's three children. Family was the most important thing in fact it was the only thing.
Betty was an excellent cook and she loved to serve others and enjoyed big family get-togethers. She loved her grandchildren, spending quality time together and having sleep overs. Betty was an animal lover - she always had and enjoyed horses. Betty was the glue that kept the grandkids bonded. Kids loved her and adored her. They look forward to their "Bana Day", a special day when Betty took her grandkids out to eat and bought them special gifts.
