Bonnie Jean Jester March 2, 1939 - August 7, 2012 Bonnie Jean Watson was born in Petersburg, Michigan on March 2, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Milo Roy Watson and the late Mary (Cook) Watson. She was a 1957graduate of Summerfield High School. Bonnie married Robert Beck Sr. and from this union came the birth of two children. She was a homemaker and she took her responsibility of raising the children very seriously. Bonnie was a good and loving mother and she cherished the time that she spent with her children. Later in life she had the opportunity to spoil her grandchildren. Bonnie seemed to always be just one of the kids running around with them and their friends. In her free time, Bonnie also enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and watching movies. Bonnie Jean Jester, age 73 a lifelong Monroe resident passed away at 10:05pm, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Fountainview of Monroe. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by two sisters: Eva Gillen and Mila Watson and two great grandchildren: Autumn Workman and Russell Workman. To cherish her memory she leaves a daughter: Theresa Bomia of Lambertville; a son: Robert (Ruth) Beck Jr. of Monroe; a brother: Charles "Chuck" (Janice) Watson of Toledo; seven grandchildren; Christina (Glen) McDonald, Edward (Jolene) Workman, Rosa (Nate) Raymer, Michael (Tammy) Workman, Lisa Meyer and fiance Timothy Winkleman; Darla (Jody) Raines, Christopher (Shana) Fuller; two step grandchildren: Raymond Thomas and David (Tara) Thomas; twenty seven great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, August 10, 2012 also at Merkle's. The Rev. Harold Raines pastor of Monroe Full Gospel and the Rev. Gary Pickrell associate pastor of Victory Temple Church will co-officiate. Procession will follow to Pleasant View Cemetery in Petersburg, Michigan for burial. Memorial donations for those who desire are suggested to Heartland Hospice and Homecare.
