Obituary of Vera Scholl

Vera J. Scholl April 24, 1932 - March 30, 2011 Vera J. Householder was born in Wellsville, Ohio on April 24, 1932. She was one of three children, the daughter of the late Ray Householder and the late Edith (Beadnell) Householder. She married Robert Scholl. Vera worked in the trucking industry as a rate clerk for many years. She was also a member of the Teamsters Local for more than thirty years. Vera was a homebody enjoying the confines of her four walls. She enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful seamstress. Vera J. Scholl age 79 of Monroe passed away at 2:13pm, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by her husband: Robert; a sister: Anna Malone; and a brother: Glen Householder. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons: Jeffrey (Lynn) Ferguson of Monroe and James (Rosemary) Ferguson Jr. of Monroe; five grandchildren: Kathy (Travis) Bailey, Brian Ferguson, Mark (Liza) Ferguson, Shaun Ferguson, Julie Ferguson, and two step grandchildren: Scott Ferguson, Julie (Keith) Healy; and one great grandchild: Taylor Bailey; and two step great grandchildren:. Talia Metcalf and Jarin Metcalf. Friends may gather from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, Monday, April 4, 2011 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 7:00pm with the Rev. Lawrence Detruf chaplain with Mercy Memorial Hospital officiating.
