Judy M. Berry November 8, 1946 - May 6, 2008 Judy Marie Berry, 61, of Monroe passed away May 6, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Nursing Center. Judy was born November 8, 1946 in Monroe, Michigan the daughter of the late Lewis Dailey and the late Natalie (Maddux) Dailey. She was a 1964 Monroe High School graduate. She had been married to Jim Carmon and K. Berry. Judy performed factory worker for some time. For many years she worked at the Uptown Bar as a Waitress and Bartender. Judy truly enjoyed the social interaction she received while working with others at Uptown. Judy is survived by three siblings, including her sister Cindy Lou Thacker of Gainesboro, Tennessee; and two brothers: Billie Braddock and Joe Braddock both of Monroe; two aunts: Alice Maddux of Monroe and Charlotte Bean of Petersburg; three uncles: Albert "Butch" Maddux, Phillip Maddux, and Michael Maddux all of Monroe, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by a very close friend Sue Parsons of Monroe. She was preceded in her passing by her parents and a beloved son: Brian Carmon. Friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Her Life at 2:00pm Friday, May 16, 2008 at Roselawn Memorial Park. The Reverend Kenneth Spain of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Township, (734) 384-5185 was entrusted with her arrangements.
