Allyson Renee Queen, age 42, of Monroe passed away at 8:03am, Friday, March 14, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe. She had been in poor health for many years.
She was born in San Diego, California on August 30, 1965. Several years ago she married Donald Queen Sr. in Monroe and he survives. She was a homemaker.
Allyson was a faithful member of the Gateway Anabaptist Church in Monroe Township. She enjoyed decorating; especially the home she shared with Donald. Allyson was also an avid writer.
She is survived by her husband: Donald of Monroe; and three step-sons: Doug and his wife Charleen Queen, Dana and his wife Laura Queen, and Donald Queen Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no public services. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Frenchtown Township, was entrusted with her arrangements. Scattering of her cremains will take place at a later date.
