Harold Eugene Myers March 2, 1928 - December 20, 2010 Harold Eugene Myers was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 2, 1928. He was one of six children born from the union of the late Russell Wilbur Myers and Erma Marie (Ethel) Myers. Harold married the true love of his life: Doris Parks on June 26, 1967. Harold was a loving and caring step-father to Doris' daughter: Crystal Faye. It was said that he treated her as his own. He worked as a Production Tech for the Ford Motor Company for twenty-one and a half years. Harold was a member of the United Auto Workers. Harold was quiet and shy, but was remembered as a very hard worker. Harold enjoyed tinkering, and was known as a handy man. He would always make time for treasure hunts, since one man's trash might be Harold's treasure. Harold also made the most of his leisure time and his favorite pastimes included: traveling, camping, fishing, bicycling, and mushroom hunting with his beloved: Doris. He loved watching and feeding the birds. His favorite treat was cookies with nuts and icing. Harold Eugene Myers age 82 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 20, 2010. In addition to his parents his passing was preceded by a sister: Shirley O'Conner. He leaves to cherish his memory a beloved wife of 43 years: Doris Myers of Monroe; a loving stepdaughter: Crystal Faye Reed of Monroe; one sister: Wilma Gardner of Clearwater, Florida; Rodger Myers of Zanesville, Ohio; Ronald Myers of Cleveland, Ohio, and Lowell Myers of Zanesville, Ohio.
