Obituary of Robert Egan

Robert Edward "Bobby" Egan June 2, 1972 - October 2, 2010 Robert Edward Egan was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on June 2, 1972. He was the eldest of two sons born from the union of John Egan and Beverly (Hollis) Egan. Robert was baptized and raised in the Monroe Apostolic Church. Robert enjoyed the simple things in life. He challenged himself with jigsaw puzzles, and he could often be found drawing and writing. Robert also enjoyed building different things with his Legos. He enjoyed swinging and walking. He was fascinated by how things worked and pens and watches especially caught his interest. Robert Edward Egan age 38 of Sumpter Township passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 2, 2010. His passing was preceded by several grandparents; a maternal uncle: Jerry Hollis in 1994; and a paternal aunt: Mary Smith in 1984. His memory will forever be cherished by his parents: John and Beverly Egan of Monroe; a brother: Patrick (Sarah) Egan of Monroe; a grandmother: Ruby Egan of Rockwood; and aunt: Joan (Bob) Rowe of Rockwood; a niece: Makayle Grace Egan; and a nephew: Carter James Egan. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, October 8, 2010 a Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 where a Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 9, 2010. The Rev. James Barnes pastor of Monroe Church of Christ will officiate. Procession will follow to Michigan Memorial Park in Huron Township.
