Obituary of Karin Osborne

Karin Huettinger Osborne May 21, 1965 - June 20, 2010 Karin Huettinger was born in Ludwigsburg, Germany on May 21, 1965. She was one of two daughters born from the union of Wilfred Huettinger and Karla (Stock) Huettinger. While living in Germany she completed her schooling and obtained advanced training in Nutrition and Home Economics. Karin married Dennis Osborne on June 7, 1984 in Germany. From this union came the birth of two children. Karin worked many years for Northwest Airlines now Delta. She worked as a Customer Service Supervisor and since she was fluent in German, Karin also served as an Interpreter. For more than 20 years she had attended the North Monroe Street Church of God Mountain Assembly. Karin always took pride in her appearance, and her son stated that she was always beautiful. She had an awesome personality, and was a pleasure to be around. Karin was happy and "Bubbly" and just being around her made others happy as well. She loved music and played the piano she was a huge fan of the Symphony and of Classical music, she enjoyed attending concerts. Karin loved traveling, and had been back and forth to Europe and around Europe many times. When she was at home in the states she loved to drive her German Audi. Karin Huettinger Osborne age 45 of Monroe went to be with her Lord at 11:00pm, Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe. Her loving family was by her side. She leaves to cherish her memory two children: Ryan Osborne and Melissa Osborne both of Monroe; her parents: Wilfred and Ingrid Huettinger and Karla Huettinger of all of Germany; a sister and her husband: Birgit and Manfred Hasseler of Germany; two nieces: Helena and Margalie Hasseler; and her former spouse: Dennis Osborne of Monroe Friends may gather from 12:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. She will lie in state on Thursday; June 24, 2010 at the North Monroe Street Church of God Mountain Assembly from 10:00am until a Celebration of Her Life at 11:00am. The Rev. Rick Massingill pastor of the church will officiate. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle for burial.
