Obituary of Janie McCracken

Janie Elizabeth McCracken October 24, 1963 - April 14, 2010 Janie Elizabeth Grandinette was born on October 24, 1963 in Stubinville, Ohio. Janie was one of four daughters born from the union of the late William Grandinette and Cathleen (White) McCracken. She was a 1982 graduate of Stubinville High School. She furthered her studies by attending college at Washtenaw Community College. She married her true love, Darwin McCracken in Dundee, Michigan on May 9, 1978. from this union came two sons. She was a member of St. Irene's Catholic Church in Dundee. She was also a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She had many hobbies including photography, reading, loved the computer, and she enjoyed writing. Janie Elizabeth McCracken age 46 of Carleton passed away peacefully on Wednesday; April, 14, 2010 at Aberdeen Skilled Nursing Center in Trenton. She fought a brave fight with MS for nearly thirty years. To cherish her memory she leaves a husband: Darwin McCracken of Carleton; two beloved sons: Steven McCracken and Ethan McCracken both of Carleton; her mother: Cathleen McCracken of Dundee; and three sisters: Natalie Grandinette of Florida, Dori McCracken of Dundee, and Annie Morgan. Cremation has taken place. Friends may gather from 1:30-5:00pm, Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Yorkshire Manor Clubhouse, 1205 York Boulevard, Carleton, Michigan 48117 to Celebrate Her Life.
