Obituary of Tiffany Muma

Please share a memory of Tiffany to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tiffany Rae Muma was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 11, 1980. She was the youngest of three daughters born from the union of Stephen Muma and Sharon (Hamilton) Muma. Tiffany received her diploma from Monroe High School in 2001. She went on to attend Oakland University where she earned Associate's Degrees in Photography and Interior Design. Tiffany was a remarkable woman. She showed perseverance throughout her life even when suffering from poor health for more than fifteen years. She was an active member of the Lupus Foundation and very proud of her Native American Heritage being a member of the Ottawa Tribe. She valued her Christian faith and received her spiritual nourishment through attendance at the Monroe Church of Christ. Tiffany had a positive outlook on life, and she made the most of each day. She was a great friend and counselor to those around her. Her thoughtfulness for others led her to drop whatever she was doing, no matter the time of day. Tiffany had a passion for photography, and she loved to capture special maternity, infant, and children. She also kept daily journals, often spending much of her time reflecting upon her wishes, dreams, and thoughts. Tiffany Rae Muma, age 35 of Monroe passed away peacefully at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Her loving family was at her side. Her passing was preceded by paternal grandparents: Donald and Josephine Muma. To cherish her memory she leaves her beloved parents: Stephen and Sharon Muma of Monroe; maternal grandmother: Ruth Hamilton of Woodhaven; two dear sisters: Terra (William "Bill") Muma Currier of Holland, Michigan and Staci (Stephen) Cheney of Ypsilanti; her niece: Josephine "Josie" Currier; her nephew: Key Currier; many aunts: uncles; cousins; and friends. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway (734) 241-7070.
