Obituary of Mary Margaret Susan Tuller
Mary Margaret Susan Tuller, age 68, of Newport, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday; October 17, 2024, at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital, under the care of Hospice. She was holding the hands of friends praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet as she passed during her holy hour.
Mary Margaret was born on June 8, 1956, in Taylor, Michigan, the daughter of Lew David Tuller and Dolores (O’Neil) Tuller. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor. Upon graduation, she worked for General Motors at the Willow Run plant and then Toledo Powertrain, where she retired from in 2008.
Mary Margaret is survived by her brother: Lew of Florida, and by many friends and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Marian Vail and Karen Tuller.
Mary Margaret was an active member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport, until her health failed. She was a cantor, member of the prayer group, and regular adorer at the Eucharistic Chapel for a holy hour. The last 20 years of her life she accepted suffering for the salvation of souls, by living with severe fibromyalgia, migraines, and spinal arthritis. She encouraged others with her prayers and courage in living each day for the Lord. She was a prayer warrior and a good friend to many. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all her friends and family. She enjoyed her 3pm holy hour, daily TV mass, reading, visiting with friends, and babysitting Jeffrey Kelly’s lab, Lincoln.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00am until 11:00am at St. Charles Catholic Church; 8033 North Dixie Highway, Newport, Michigan 48166. The Divine Mercy Chaplet led by Paul Roelant will start at 10:00am followed by a rosary led by Deacon Mike Hamond. The Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:00am officiated by Father Henry Rebello and assisted by Deacon Mike. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery.
