Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Diana Faye Pritchard was born July 16, 1945, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of twelve children born to the union of Eldred and Ursula (Kolinski) Dusseau. Diana attended Monroe High School obtaining her high school diploma in 1963.  As a child Diana was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe, Michigan.

On July 29, 1983, in Monroe, Michigan Diana married the love of her life, Mr. Robert Pritchard.  Diana was employed as a waitress at Drouillards Restaurant in LaSalle but shortly after being married Robert and Diana packed up their car and headed out west to look for employment. While in Mesquite, Nevada, Diana gained employment as a housekeeping supervisor for the Virgin River Hotel.  After she and Robert both retired, they moved back home to Monroe in 2011.  Diana was the president of the council at Frenchtown Place where she would coordinate various activities for all the residents.

She loved to do crafts, especially painting, sewing, creating new things out of old items and making jewelry. Diana would bake sheet cakes for all the music events planned at the complex and the residents couldn’t wait for her dark and white chocolate cakes as well as her Amish Friendship cakes, but it was the Red Velvet cake that everyone sought the recipe.  She loved to visit casinos and try her hand at the machine poker games.  Often, she could be seen tapping her toes while listening to 50’s and 60’s music. Perusing the unique finds at the local flea markets brought Diana great joy.
