Please share a memory of Bonnie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bonnie Sue Wandt was born on May 23, 1972, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of seven children born to the union of John W. and Betty (Wireman) Wandt.  Bonnie attended Monroe Public Schools.

Bonnie was blessed with the birth of two sons: Richard and Alen.  Bonnie loved being outdoors and was a true country girl at heart. She enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie for whatever was biting that day. When she wasn’t casting a line in the water, Bonnie liked watching episodes of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on television.  Of all things, Bonnie’s most cherished pastime was spoiling her seven grandchildren and spending time with each and everyone of them.

Bonnie Sue LaBerge, age 52 of Newport, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Corewell Health in Trenton after an extended illness.  At her passing, she selflessly provided the gift of life to others through organ and tissue donation. To cherish Bonnie’s memory, she leaves her sons: Richard Jon Wandt of Monroe and Alen Wandt (Bridgett Clark) of Louisville, Kentucky; three brothers: Harold Wandt of Trenton, Michigan, Dean Wandt of Toledo, Ohio, and Glen Wandt (Christine Krug) of Monroe.
