Obituary of Allen Ray Barron

Allen Ray Barron 90 of Pinedale, Wyoming passed away February 15, 2024,  at home.

Born July 16, 1933 in Erie, Michigan to the late George R. Barron and Ruth (Gallup) Barron.

On August 29, 1950 Allen enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served until being honorably discharged on July 22, 1954.

He married Beverly Ann Damon on December 24, 1954. They were blessed with the birth of four children.

On April 26,1955 he started his career at Michigan Gas Utility Company. Of which he retired from April 1, 1995.

Allen is survived by his wife: Beverly Barron; a daughter Diana Rae Barron of Monroe; three sons: Dennis Allen Barron, David Allen Barron of Big Piney, Wyoming, Daniel Allen Barron of Pinedale, Wyoming. Brother: William (Connie) Barron of Monroe;

Brother-in-law Donald K. Damon of Oscoda; Sister-in-law Reah Kohler of Monroe and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Allen is proceeded in death by five brothers: Walter, Richard, James, Donald, David; a Stepsister: Mary Ann Cooley; a Stepbrother: Robert Wilkins along with several sisters and brothers-in-laws and five nephews.

Private services have been held and no public services are planned at this time.  Allen’s local care was entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. A private burial was held in Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Michigan.
