Obituary of Vivian Fay Loose - Yentz

Please share a memory of Vivian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Vivian Fay Myers was born in Samaria, Michigan on July 15, 1924.  She was the youngest of four children born from the union of Simon L. Myers and Lillian L. (Reid) Myers.  She graduated with the Class of 1942 from Lambertville High School, and shortly thereafter in the same year, married Chester Yantz.  Together the young couple were blessed with four children.

She later married William “Bill” Loose in 1964, and he passed away in 1996.  She once again was fortunate to find a partner, Edward Yentz, and the couple was joined in holy matrimony on February 19, 2000.  He passed away in 2008.

For many years, Vivian was employed in the office of Dr. David Diapaolo in Sylvania, a kinesiologist/chiropractor.  However, she truly valued being a homemaker and caring for the needs of her husbands and children.

Vivian was a woman of devout Christian faith.  As a gifted musician, she was very active in every church she attended singing and playing the organ.  She had worshipped at Stewart Road Church of God and Redeemer Fellowship Church to name a few.  She became rather well known locally from her church work and performing for other organizations, as well as singing at the Monroe County Fair.   She was very proud to have recorded a Praise album.  For three years she hosted a local radio program “Moments of Inspiration” airing on WVMO and worked with three Toledo Television Stations.

Vivian Fay Yentz, age 99, passed away at 8:15pm on Friday; January 19, 2024, at Wellspring Lutheran Services.  Her passing was preceded by her parents; former husband: Chester Yantz; two husbands: William Loose and Edward Yentz; two sons: Thomas E. Yantz and Larry Yantz; two brothers: Melvin Myers and Donald Myers; a sister: Letha McKeever; a son-in-law: David Hayford; two daughters-in-law: Patsy Yantz and Jenny Loose, and a sister-in-law: Ruth Myers.
