Obituary of Brenda J. Kiser

Please share a memory of Brenda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Brenda Jill Pack was born on July 13, 1946, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of four children born from the union of Henry Pack and Velma (Whitt) Pack.  She attended Trinity Lutheran School from kindergarten through the eighth grade and then Monroe High School graduating with the Class of 1964.

As a young girl, Brenda found solace in the company of her cherished horse, Blueberry, with whom she shared many memorable adventures and triumphs, riding and winning ribbons during her time living in North Carolina.

Born into a Christian home, Brenda was a woman of unwavering faith with a deep and unyielding love for the Lord.  For many years she worshipped at Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was also employed as the church secretary.  Her strong beliefs and devotion guided her every action and she found great strength in her faith.  Later in life, she was an active member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church participating in many groups such as Sister's in the Spirit, Women on Mission Group, as well as Golden Girls, a group of ladies who met monthly to break bread and simply support one another.

In her professional life, Brenda achieved remarkable success as a real estate broker, exemplified by earning the esteemed title of Agent of the Year. Yet, it is her remarkable kindness and dedication to fostering that set her apart. She was once named Foster Mother of the Year during her time in Thomasville, Georgia. She touched the lives of many children, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. Her canine companions, Candy the Shih Tzu, and Burt Reynolds the Chihuahua mix, were more than just pets; they were her cherished and loyal best friends, providing constant comfort and companionship.

Brenda's zest for life extended to her love for laughter and card games. As an esteemed member of the exclusive Friday night Canasta “club” at her sister Reah’s house, Brenda brightened the lives of those around her with her quick wit and humor. Whether entertaining friends or strangers, Brenda's vivacious spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all she encountered, even while performing a mundane task such as grocery shopping.
