Obituary of Constance Ann Parks

Please share a memory of Constance to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Constance Ann Pribyl was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 14, 1960, to the union of Frank George Pribyl and Betty Jean (Stout) Pribyl Alston.  She attended Jefferson High School, graduating with the class of 1978.

Connie married Steven Thomas Parks at the Monroe County Courthouse on February 14, 1989.  The couple were blessed with four children. She cared for the needs of her family as a homemaker.  A wonderful mother and grandmother, she loved the opportunity she was afforded to be able to stay at home.  Connie always placed the needs of those around her ahead of her own.  She was the trusted confidant to her family and friends.

Connie was a hard worker.  She had cleaned private homes off and on for many years.  A neat freak, she kept her own home pristine and in fact loved the smell of bleach.  She lent a helping hand wherever she went and was the first to chip in and help set up or clean up for a party.

A lifetime Monroe resident, Connie was a homebody.  She drove very little, but she wasn’t afraid to take public transportation to get to her destination.  Connie enjoyed being in the know and staying up on current affairs or the weather.  She made sure to share her knowledge with those around her to keep them in the loop as well.

Family was most important to Connie, and she enjoyed entertaining, often having a houseful.  The door was always open at the Parks home, and she was more than willing to cook.

Constance Ann Parks, age 62, of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.  Her passing was preceded by her parents; her beloved husband in 2001; and her son Steven Thomas Parks in 2022.

To cherish her memory she leaves three children: Terra Pribyl of Newport, Melissa Pribyl of Monroe, and Frank (Jessica) Parks of Monroe; three grandchildren whom she adopted: Malachi, Mikyah, and Marcus Pribyl all of Monroe; three sisters: Cindy Barron of Monroe, Cathy Dusseau of Monroe, and Sheri Pribyl of Monroe; a brother: Tim Pribyl (Chris Collino) of Monroe; five grandchildren: Isiah Pribyl, Jacob Pribyl, Kassidy Dufour-Parks, Abigail Parks, and Maximus Parks; three great grandchildren: Kilyn Pribyl, Kingston Pribyl, and Kinsley Pribyl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
