I had shared earlier but don't see it on here now, so if this is redundant, please accept my apologies. I wanted to extend our condolences to Madison, family and friends of Keith. He was a great neighbor and we always enjoyed talking with him and sharing a few neighborhood highlights! He was always helpful and generous, and could make you smile. Sending lots of love and prayers your way.

Keith was a great friend and neighbor for 23 years. He loved to barbecue and gather with family and friends around a fire after. I think these were some of his greatest times as he would often belt out, with his arms extended, and proclaim with great happiness, " This is what it's all about!" This is the face I have etched in my memory, glowing around a bright fire. The sound of Keith's hardy laugh playing in my head helps me smile through my tears as I write this. His jolly greeting of "good morning! "all hours, echoes in my head. Keith was a sweetheart to my son and daughter. They have countless memories of good times with him as well, including fishing. Claire remembers your loud whistle when it was time to come home from playing. No matter how far on the lake or woods she and Madie would hear you. She reminded me how we all would know a Lions game or a Red Wings game was on because we could hear you hollering at the TV . Thank you for always lending us your stuff Keith, you were always there for us. I grieve the most while cooking. I know you liked my food. I've avoided mushrooms for years knowing you "detested" them. I left a dish at your door Monday. I put it in the freezer Tuesday morning, I didn't think you were home. Sick with grief knowing that you were. I miss you Keith. Madison ( Baby Girl, Putz), again, know our door is always open.

I had countless memories with Keith. riding his moped. He was a wonderful person and had the most infectious laugh of anyone I will ever meet. I will never forget his laugh and cherish all the fun moments we had together. his fire department nickname was sir falls alot the first time he’s got to go on a fire. He was so excited to do an interior entry as he was running to the fire to go, and he fell flat on his face. I know the most it would be funny, but we laughed about that many times. His excitement was as infectious as his laugh was my deepest sympathies to you Maddison if you need anything always know that I’m here.

Though I never got the pleasure of meeting you, I will never forget the sound of your laugh—even if it was just over the phone. You called Madison on our way to the Florida Keys and I got to listen in to Lexi and Madison updating you on all the fun things we had done that trip. I couldn’t help but smile at the sound of that booming, magnificent laugh. Going forward, I will try to be a good friend to Madison and make sure she continues to laugh as well. Rest easy, Keith.

You’ll always be in my thoughts Keith, I’m going to miss you more than you could ever know. You were like the dad I never got, you were the coolest guy ever and I know wherever you are you’ll be spending your days kicked back jamming while laughing at me and Madison trying to stumble our way through life. I want you to know I’ll be by Madison’s side tomorrow and forever all for you <3
I LOVE YOU!!!!! <3 <3
