Lynette Beebe

Obituary of Lynette Lise Beebe

Please share a memory of Lynette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lynette Lise Bomia was born on April 26, 1957, in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of three children born from the union of Ronald Bomia and Bessie (Casabianca) Bomia. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, graduating from Monroe High School with the class of 1975.

Lynette met her future husband, Donald Michael Beebe in 1989 while they were both employed at Classic Containers, within River Raisin Specialty where he worked in maintenance.  Wherever, Lynette worked she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic earning the respect of her fellow employees and supervisors.   She was employed in several different capacities, including clerical and warehouse laborer for more than twenty years at Youngs, Inc., a designer and importer of figurines.  Lynette moved as the company moved from Monroe, Luna Pier, and Dundee.  She married Donald M Beebe on December 23, 2015, in Monroe.

Lynette enjoyed being outside and found her solitude there.  While embracing the serenity of “real” camping in a tent "Up north", she found peace amongst the towering trees and the enchanting scenery. The crackling campfire provided the soundtrack to her tranquil moments, as she marveled at the beauty of the outdoors.  She was also blessed with a green thumb and brought life and beauty to her own yard; carefully tending to her flowers that always seemed to flourish under her care, and on occasion, she delighted in the process of creating and tending to a vegetable garden.

Lynette's craftiness knew no bounds as she poured her heart into creating wreaths and table centerpieces for her family and close friends. Her creative spirit would shine through each meticulously crafted piece, bringing joy and beauty to those fortunate enough to receive them.

One of Lynette's greatest moments in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She treasured every moment, nurturing their imaginations and building cherished memories together. Whether it was playing board games, telling stories, or simply basking in their laughter, Lynette's love for her grandchildren was evident in each interaction.

Lynette had a few simple indulgences that she enjoyed, such as her daily dose of coffee and her cigarettes. Lynette was a beautiful soul who generously gave of herself to those around her, and though she had a stubborn streak, it was simply a testament to her strong-willed nature and determination.

Lynette Lise Beebe, age 66, of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday; July 9, 2023.  She had been in declining health for many years.  In addition to her passing, she is preceded by her parents and two brothers: Donald Bomia and Ronald Bomia.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband: Donald of Monroe; four children: Peter Patterfritz of Ida, Melissa Patterfritz of Toledo, Amber Patterfritz of Toledo, and Tyler Beebe of Monroe; a sister: Sheryle (Leonard) Martin of Temperance; eight grandchildren: Micheala (Michael) Dennis, Drake Patterfritz, Samantha Patterfritz, Ryan Patterfritz, Antwon, Keontae, DeMarcus, and Giovanni Beebe; and two great grandchildren: Carter and Carson.
