Obituary of La Tashaua Nicole Toles
La Tashaua Nicole Toles was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 8, 1971. She was the daughter born to the union of Larry Stanley Rocker and Dianne Yvonne Toles. Tasha attended St. John Catholic Elementary School, Lincoln Grade School, and Monroe High School. She was extremely competitive and very athletic, often playing sports as a young girl. Although, she did not care for formal education and didn’t finish high school, she was very intelligent and wise beyond her years. Later in life she even returned to school to obtain her GED.
For many years she supported herself in the food service industry. She had been employed by several local area establishments including Wendys and McDonalds. Tasha could often be seen riding from place to place on her bicycle. She was blessed in this life with the birth of three sons. To say the least, she was a social butterfly, and quite possibly one of the most loved people on Monroe’s East Side, and she loved her neighborhood as well. Tasha enjoyed spending time with friends and family, in fact she was usually the life of the party. To know her was to love her.
