Obituary of Holly Ann Geiger
Holly Ann (Queen) Geiger was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 22, 1961. She was the daughter of Ronald Earl Queen and Joan Barbara (Siffer) Queen. Holly graduated with the Class of 1979 from Monroe High School. She later continued her education by enrolling in classes through Ross Business Institute. For many years, Holly was employed in different capacities in the food service industry.
Holly and her brother Brian had a special bond. They spent many hours together fishing or taking walks with Holly’s dog Buster. They enjoyed going to bingo and visiting different parks together. She enjoyed being one with nature which led to her frequently going camping in the summer and tending to her garden. Holly enjoyed dining out at local restaurants and shopping. The simple things in life made her the most happy, like spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
Holly Ann Geiger, age 61, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday; March 14, 2023. She had recently entered into poor health. Her passing was preceded by her parents; a daughter: Jenna Verhille; and a brother: Vaughn Queen.
To cherish her memory she leaves two daughters: Jody Queen and Jessica Reeber; six grandchildren: Devin, Justin, Kaitlin, Starlynn, Jazmine, and Zayne; one great-granddaughter: Lily; five siblings: Keith (Loretta) Queen, Vickie Queen, Brian Queen, Brad Queen, and Ronda (Charles) Davidson; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather on Friday; March 24, 2023, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe; 14567 South Dixie Highway, Monroe, Michigan 48161 (734) 241-7070. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 2:00pm also at Merkles with Pastor Kevin Spencer officiating. Procession will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Michigan for burial.
