Obituary of Jack Younglove

Jack Younglove was born on January 18, 1937, in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of seven children born from the union of Earl and Pauline (Steinman) Younglove. Jack attended Catholic Central High School in Monroe graduating with the class of 1955.  Jack served in the Army between 1960 – 1962.  He was stationed in Germany.   Jack would meet and marry the love of his life, the former Kayellen Fackler and they were married on Jan 9, 1960. The couple would be blessed with the birth of two children.

Jack Younglove, age 85, of Monroe passed away due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.   His passing was preceded by his parents; a sister: Margaret Kroeger; a brother: Thomas Younglove; a godson: Gregory Grubb. 

To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife of sixty-two years: Kayellen Younglove; two children: Rebecca (Joseph) Cook and Kent (Bethany) Younglove; four siblings: James (Madeline) Younglove, Paul (Angela) Younglove, Jean (Larry) Grubb, and Dale (Donna) Younglove; three grandchildren: Katy Younglove, Andrew (Amanda) Younglove, and Jennifer Younglove; and three great grandchildren: Kyle, Oliver, Abigail and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may gather on Wednesday; October 26, 2022, beginning with a 6:00pm Rosary service and continuing until 8:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. On Thursday; October 27, 2022, Jack will lie in state from 10:00am until the Mass of the Resurrection, led by Fr. Mike Woroniewicz at 11:00am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Joseph Church; 9207 Joseph Street, Maybee, Michigan 48159. Procession to St. Joseph Cemetery, Maybee will follow.
