Obituary of Kenneth Edward Kolver Jr.

Kenneth Edward Kolver Jr. was born on Sunday, September 3, 1961 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He was one of two children born from the union of the late Kenneth and Judith (Remick) Lycan. Kenny attended Jefferson High School with the class of 1979. Kenneth supported his family as an equipment operator for Walbridge Aldinger for several years, taking retirement in 2016. He was also a member of the operating engineers local 324 and laborers union local 499. Kenneth was a sociable guy who loved to sing and listen to music. He was a likable man, stubborn but with a good heart. Kenny spent a lot of his free time with friends, a known jokester with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting during the fall season, often taking trips up north for deer. Kenneth was a jack of all trades but as his friends and family would say a master of none. He was known to keep the fire going on social nights. Kenneth Edward Kolver Jr., age 55, of Carleton, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 unexpectedly at home. In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded by his step mother: Beverly Kolver.
