I am heartbroken. I probably have more memories of this gal than anyone else in my life. Hours of phone conversation (when the 1st 3 minutes was $2.85, then per minute after that); sitting around the kitchen table in Maybee drinking coffee and smoking our cigs; long visits when I came back to Dundee on vacation. I will miss our future visits. I will miss her warmth and her smile. Thank you Cookie for being such a big part of my life.
