A music lover, Daris enjoyed listening to classic country tunes and gospel compositions. A talented musician in his own right, he played the acoustic guitar and sung gospel songs alongside his wife. Daris liked to tinker with electrical gadgets and was very handy around the house. He loved to challenge his family to a game of baseball or basketball and was also a skilled pool player. Always the designated driver, Daris enjoyed long road trips to Kentucky to visit family.   He had a great appreciation for all of God’s creations, spending many hours navigating through the wilderness with his trusty compass in hand.    A gentle soul, Daris’s positive outlook and generous spirit were contagious.
