Larry was a mall Santa for us for many years in Michigan but for health reasons, he had to stop. Two years ago, his wife Karen asked if he could come back for just 1/2 shift. Of course, I said "yes", even though he was now blind. Karen was his "Mrs. Clause" and helped to look forward, eyes open. He did great. The entire family kept in touch, and I took photographs of family members for years after he stopped. Godspeed Larry, you were a wonderful person with a great Ho, Ho, Ho! Of all of Larry's (my brother) achievements, which were many, was his role of Santa. He started his preparations months ahead of time, grooming his beard. Thank you so much for sharing. Connie (Bennett) Manzo

On Behalf of the Monroe Moose Lodge 884 and Ladies Women of the Moose Chapter 714, our hearts and Prayers go out to Karen and the Bennett Family, We were blessed to have seen Larry back in the Lodge the Past few months , Larry had served on the Michigan Moose Community service board and a Past Governor Of Monroe Lodge, Larry also was awarded his Fellowship Degree of Honor the Second highest award in the Moose Organization achieved by only 3 % of the membership . It is now 9:00 O'clock God Bless Mooseheart , God Bless Larry and Family, Larry thank you for all you have done for our Monroe Moose Lodge, Rest in Peace Fellow Moose
