Susan Marie Taylor was born on January 1, 1965 in Luna Pier, Michigan.   She was one of three children born to the union of Arthur Jay Cote and Lorraine Kay (Cote). Susan attended Erie Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie, Michigan graduating with the class of 1983.   In 1988, Susan would marry the love of her life, Mr. Robin Taylor, and the couple would be blessed with two children.

Susan would always express her love for Harley Davidson motorcycles.  She enjoyed making homemade scented candles and loved giving people candy canes and teddy bears around the holidays with Christmas and Halloween being her two favorites.   Her fascination with Christmas was mostly due to the fact that she loved to decorate and hang lights.  Susan loved to cook Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed baking cookies and cakes.  She was very generous and always quick to give what she had often making “something out of nothing”.   Susan was a busybody, always on the go, and never stayed home alone.   She enjoyed entertaining guests and cherished her family.   For several years she worked at the Salvation Army in Monroe, Michigan as a Bell Ringer throughout the Holidays. She quickly became known as the “Dancing Bell Ringer”.
